The Nitty Gritty

Buying stuff!

When you make a purchase, you should receive a confirmation email detailing your order. Once the order has been dispatched, you should receive another email detailed the tracking number (if applicable) Check your spam folder, sometimes they get gobbled up. You can buy securely through the site using credit cards, Paypal or even Apple Pay if I’ve flicked the right switch. If you would rather buy over the phone, give the studio a call and we can arrange. I am also open to bartering. Barter with me! It'll be fun.

Delivering stuff!

I usually try to post everything out within a week but if you need something sooner, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. You can also collect your order from one of the pop up shops (if I have one at the time) or the studio. Contact me for details.

I make every effort to keep the delivery charges as low as possible and am constantly (occasionally) exploring cheaper ways to get you your goodies, but for the moment I’m using a mixture of Royal Mail and My Hermes.
 - Now. You may hate My Hermes. You may even feel physical pain at the mere mention of their name - but you're going to have to trust me, I've used an awful lot of couriers and sent an awful lot of things, and they have been the most reliable. Even as I type this I'm starting to doubt myself, but it's true! It's true I tell you!

Limited edition prints will need to be signed for. If you're not going to be in, let me know where we can send them where someone will be!  Everything else is generally sent First Class. Cards may arrive separately as they won’t fit in the print tubes. Which is annoying, but that’s life. And just simple physics.

Returning stuff.

The limited edition prints arrive rolled and wrapped in acid free tissue, in heavy duty tubes. Damage is incredibly rare. Everything else arrives in various packaging, and is on the whole very well protected. Occasionally one comes across a delivery person that is both vindictive and freakishly strong. This can’t be helped – but if anything is damaged upon arrival, please let me know within 7 days. Upon return of the items, I will either replace them or offer a full refund.

Please remove the prints from the tubes CAREFULLY! They’re delicate, and I can’t refund you if you’ve damaged it whilst shaking it out onto the floor, stamped on it and/or fed it through a shredder.

You may also exercise your right to cancel your order up to 7 days after receipt, with no real reason at all, for a full refund. If you would like to (be the first person ever to) do this, you must notify me in writing here. The goods must also arrive back to me in perfect condition, at your own expense, and your refund will exclude the original postage costs. I would recommend using a trackable, insured delivery service.

Other stuff.

If it is a gift, and you would like ‘stealth’ packaging, let me know. The bright pink Tom Lewis tape is a bit of a give away otherwise…

Care of your prints.

The prints are produced using archival quality paper and inks, and we'll all be long dead should they ever fade. They are unlikely to spontaneously combust, and require neither food nor water for sustenance. They will not reproduce unless drunk, and only then under very specific, very messy circumstances. They don't appear to mind being rolled for significant lengths of time, although they will take some gentle flattening to relieve any curl. Like everything - best not to expose to direct sunlight, and if you can stretch to snazzy uv protective glass, then why the devil not treat yourself? Try to avoid getting your grubby fingers on the surface of the print, and keep them away from angry mobs. Your best bet is to take the tube straight to a framer and let them worry about it...
